Description
Rasknitt is a Skaven enemy who speaks in the intro prologue, and the boss at the end of The Skittergate.
Background
Rasknitt is a Grey Seer who was in charge of Clan Fester's attack on Ubersreik. After his failure at the screaming bell, he tried to trap The Heroes but failed. They escaped their cages and fled to Taal's Horn Keep. After allying with Bödvarr Ribspreader, Skarrik Spinemanglr, and Burblespue Halescourge he began work on a Skittergate that would allow the Chaos army in Norsca to invade the Reikland easily.
Offense
Rasnkitt will utilise a Stormfiend as a mount at the start of the Skittergate finale known as Deathrattler. This fiend acts as a regular Stormfiend, save for the fact he's equipped with dual Ratling guns rather than a single Warpfire Thrower.
Once you defeat Rasknitt's mount, he will be forced to fight you on foot. He does not engage in melee, only using warp magic to send out bolts of lightning towards a random hero that will deal damage over time. He also calls upon special Skaven to aid him in the battle.
Defense
Rasknitt uses a shield of warp energy to protect him from projectiles as long as he is atop his mount. Once knocked off, he will start teleporting across the fighting arena, usually putting himself in one of the four corners. When approached and attacked by a hero, he will quickly try to disengage.
Strategy
Keep track of Deathrattler's bullet storms. They are about as deadly as that of a regular Ratling Gunner, with the medium to close range of the combat arena making his shots quite effective. There are four pillars near each corner that can be utilised as make-shift cover. Hordes will spawn in from the sides, mostly near the exit gate of the area, so crowd control is a must while facing Deathrattler. Once defeated, the team ought to focus on bursting down Rasnkitt together as fast as possible, as any stunlocking will make it harder for him to disengage across the arena. Keep in mind that Rasnkitt calls out for certain special Skaven, of which Ratling Gunners and Globadiers tend to be the deadliest. Gutter Runners and Packmasters will also pick off any hero that might have his attention elsewhere.
Misc
- Rasknitt is voiced by Andreas Rylander
