Maulers are a type of Chaos Marauder. They have skulls on their shoulder pads, an unarmored body and an armored helm.

Maulers carry a large two-handed axe. They have a slow but powerful attack. They are easily spotted through their black head-armor and red pants. Maulers are part of the Chaos patrols the Heroes can encounter throughout a map.

Strategy[ | ]

It's recommended to hit maulers in the chest or anywhere else rather than the head, despite it being a weak spot (unless your weapon possesses the Armour Piercing characteristic).
Their overhead slam can instantly break your stamina bar and break your block, as such it is better to dodge these blows.
