“	Right now, Fort Brachsenbrücke is about the only thing stopping the enemy rampaging far and wide, but it's under siege, and about to fall. I need you to do whatever you can to keep the bastion in Imperial hands. The main approach is likely chock-full of pact-sworn, but there is a secret entrance upriver. Use it, and defend the fort in any way you can.	„

“	There are pact-sworn everywhere right now, and if it wasn't for Fort Brachsenbrücke, they'd be even farther afield. I'd suggest you get out there, and make sure Fort Brachsenbrücke holds. Avoid the siege lines by taking a secret path down by the river. Chances are, the ratmen knows about it, but beggars can't be choosers.	„

Synopsis

The Heroes travel to Fort Brachsenbrücke to break the siege of the Skaven and Rotbloods. They make their way along the river towards the Fort, using a secret path to avoid the siege lines. Once inside the Fort, the Heroes use a canon to destroy the siege engines and rout the enemy.

Finale

The cannon on top of the Fort has to be used to fire on the enemy trebuchets outside the Fort and destroy them. All throughout the event, Skaven will attack the players. Every time the canon is fired, it has to be turned to face another trebuchet, which will take some time. After three shots, the canon has to be reloaded. The cannonball is found at a randomized location in the Fort, at the other side of the battlements. After destroying all trebuchets, the front gate breaks and the heroes run the remaining invaders down and escape through the Bridge of Shadows.

Post-Mission

After completing Fort Brachsenbrücke, Oleysa will say the following.

“	Brachsenbrücke should hold - at least for now. Lohner's got folk scrambling to man its walls, and should you free any more prisoners, they now have somewhere safe to go. I bet you are dying to know if old Olesya has any more news on the ratmen? I can tell you she has. First, I have learned that sending out ratmen to the elven ruins, in an attempt to mess with my Bridge of Shadows, was not done by Rasknitt or some Rotblood potentate. And since Warlord Skarrik is just far too dense to have come up with it, evidence suggests there is a new power working behind the scenes in clan Fester. Second, I know exactly where Skarrik Spinemanglr is nesting. An idiot like him in charge seemed at first only to benefit us, but being only a pawn, with a cunning master pulling his strings, taking him out will be a good thing. Trust me.	„
