Damage over Time is continuing damage which ticks off per second after the initial strike. The amount and duration of the damage varies between sources. Both the players and enemies have ways of dealing Damage over Time, both to each other and themselves (friendly fire).

- Warpfire from Warpfire Throwers, or Stormfiends
- Poison Wind from Poison Wind Globadiers, also causes visual distortion
- Chaos Magic from Blightstormers, Burblespue Halescourge, or Rasknitt
- Bile from Bile Trolls, only while standing in the AoE pools of bile
- Slime from the Buboes
