'''Crafting''' is the umbrella term that refers to game mechanics that allow the player to create, salvage, or modify [[Equipment]]. Crafting is available through the Crafting panel and only accessible in the [[Taal's Horn Keep|Keep]].

"Salvages any usable materials from items."

Salvaging allows a player to destroy equipment in exchange for [[Crafting#Materials list|Materials]]. The tab allows for the salvaging of 9 items at once. Only equipment that is not equipped by '''any''' [[Heroes & Careers|Hero or Career]] can be salvaged.

Salvaging always returns scrap, either [[Salvaged Weapon Part|Salvaged Weapon Parts]] or [[Salvaged Gemcutter's Toolkit|Salvaged Gemcutter's Toolkits]], and dust corresponding to the [[Rarity]] of the salvaged equipment.

The number of returned scraps is fixed {1, 2, 3, 4} for an item with each rarity (white, green, blue, orange). The number of returned dusts is random, 1-2 dusts for an item.

===Craft Item===
Creates a specific item type by placing a template or a random item if no template is used. The material cost may vary depending on the item.

Equipment can be made through Crafting. As you [[Level]] up each hero, you'll earn Blacksmith templates which can be used to craft the corresponding equipment of random rarity (except [[Equipment#Rarity|Red]]). If no template is used, you'll receive a random piece of equipment. Crafting new equipment costs 10 Scrap and either a Salvaged Weapon Part or Salvaged Gemcutter's Toolkit depending on the piece crafted. The equipment [[Power]] is based on the average equipment power previously acquired for the player, similar to [[Loot]].

===Re-Roll Properties===
Re-rolls the [[Properties]] for a piece of equipment. Will yield a random set of properties available to the equipment type. Property values will also be randomized.

Randomly rolls new properties with new percentages for any but [[Equipment#Rarity|White]] equipment at the cost of 1 [[Jade Dust]] and 1 [[Celestial Dust]]. This will have no impact on the [[Weapons|Weapon]]'s power or [[Traits]]. Note that red equipment always keep maximum values for the re-rolled properties.

===Re-Roll Trait===
"Re-rolls the trait for a piece of equipment. Will yield a random trait available to the equipment type."

Randomly rolls a new trait (can be the same already applied) for an [[Equipment#Rarity|Orange]] or red item at the costs of 1 [[Amber Dust]]. This will have no impact on the weapon's [[Power]] or [[Properties]].

===Upgrade Item===
Upgrades an item to the next rarity tier. Any properties and traits are randomized. Material cost increases with each rarity tier. Does not upgrade power.

Upgrades a piece of equipment at the cost of [[Scrap]] or dust. This will add a new property or traits accordingly. Upgrading rerolls the type and value of the equipment's property as well as the trait. Upgrading has no effect on the equipment's Power. The exception is upgrading to red rarity. Upgrading to red will not reroll the property type or the trait. However, the property values and equipment power will be increased to maximum.

===Apply Illusion===
Applies an [[Illusions|Illusion]] to a weapon. The illusion is not consumed in the process and can be applied to other weapons.

Apply a [[Weapon skin|Weapon Skin]] to a weapon of the same type. A skin is unlocked once a weapon with the skin is obtained as loot. 

===Convert Dust===
Converts dust to a lower rarity.

Allows the player to convert red [[Dust]] to orange Dust, orange dust to blue dust, and blue dust to green dust, all at a ratio of 1:1.
