"Olesya needs a favour. Help her find the mysterious artefact by exploring an illusion of times past."

Back to Ubersreik is the second DLC for Vermintide 2, released on 10 December 2018. The campaign revolves around a Dwarfen Lodestone, and the return of the Heroes to Ubersreik though an illusion created by Olesya.

About[ | ]

Back to Ubersreik sends you back to Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide with 3 remastered Ubersreik Missions.

Upon the Heroes discovering an Ubersreik Lodestone, Olesya - the resident spy-master and grey wizard - sends the Heroes into an illusion of Ubersreik. Claimed to be the birthplace of Sigmar, the city of Ubersreik lies at the mouth of the Grey Lady Pass. As the Heroes return everything appears to be… sort of the same. In the second DLC for Vermintide 2, the Heroes return to Ubersreik to uncover the dark truth hidden within the city.

Content[ | ]

The Campaign includes three new missions set in Ubersreik:

The DLC also includes new Challenges, through which the player can earn new Melee Weapons and weapon Illusions for each hero. To unlock each Weapon, the player must complete all three missions on any Difficulty as the respective hero. They can then earn the blueprint for the weapon as a reward from Okri's Challenges with which the player can craft the weapon. DLC weapons do not drop as Loot.

Story[ | ]

We've had a Dwarfen trinket come into our hands. A lodestone, or something similar. Olesya says it's got something to do with Ubersreik. She doesn't know what, of course. Only that there are three Dwarfen runes hidden about the place that serve as the key to its hiding place. Now, we can't very well go back to Ubersreik. Even if we weren't up to our eyes in it over here, half of the place is in ruins by now. Could be our runes have gone to wherever it is runes go when they die. But Olesya has a plan. She reckons she can craft an illusion of ubersreik as it was just as things started to go south. Once you're inside, you can have a dig around for these runes - maybe even get an idea of what the bloody things are for. Only catch is, once you're inside the illusion, you won't remember having been there before. But it's not all bad. Olesya will guide you while you're in the illusion, and it's not like you'll forget how to kill the ratmen, is it? Let's hope not. Back to Ubersreik with you!
